print shop by max wanger

i'm not sure most people pay any attention to image sources (i'm always hoping to find a new rabbit-hole to tumble down!) but if you do, you have probably noticed i've used some of max wanger's photos throughout the blog... particularly his images from tulum.

i've been a huge, huge fan of his work for years and years... so much so that working with max and margaux was one of matt's and my top priorities when we got married last spring. they are really awesome and sweet people with such a unique view of the world - as evidenced by their amazing photos.

after sourcing art for a few years, i'm really, really particular about what goes on our walls. i like to know the story behind the piece and ideally i want it to be personal. but i'm useless with a paint brush and my photography skills don't quite warrant the cost of framing just yet. so for now our walls are empty, waiting for the perfect piece.

luckily, max has solved my problem!

last week they launched a new wedding photography site and  a new print shop. and i'm obsessed. pictures i wish i had taken, taken by someone that i know and admire. done and done.

we are currently debating which pieces to purchase (even though we still haven't even printed out any wedding photos!) and i'd love your opinions!

(ps -  all prints are 15% through january 2nd with the code PINECONE)

  3. So happy to have discovered your blog! I love Max Wanger! And let me just say, on your about me page, the sentence "it
is where i publicly announce to the interwebs my intention to live in
the moment as opposed to always planning and waiting for the future" Well I feel like I could have written that myself. Major goal of mine as well!
